The American University of Sharjah is one of the best and top universities in Arab region. AUS is known for its highly-ranked and top-rated academic programs and research. The American University of Sharjah is officially ranked at 201-250 in the world for its world-leading MBA courses in various fields by QS. Similarly, The Engineering and Technology programs offered by American University of Sharjah are quite popular and are ranked at 356 by QS in 2023.

The American University of Sharjah does not publish data on the acceptance rate. However as per unofficial sources including EduRank, AUS acceptance rate is between 70% - 80%. This indicates the university is moderately competitive and international students may not find it hard to get into AUS. However, please note that the data on the acceptance rate given above is taken from an unofficial sources, therefore, it is subject to vary.

All applicants including international students are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of AED 400 plus 5% VAT to apply at the American University of Sharjah. Transfer applicants are required to pay a non-refundable transcript evaluation fee of 400 AED plus 5% VAT. Your application will be not be considered for evaluation if application fee is not paid. International students can pay the application fee online through their credit or debit card.
