The English test of Amity comprises of an essay test wherein where you would be asked to write two essays based on any two contemporary topics. They were based on current topics. Once you finish your essays, you have to face the interview board.

It is not necessary to stay in Hostel. You can commute daily as per your comfort. If it is easy to manage time for you and you can get time for self study and project work then you can commute otherwise hostel would be better.

Yes you can get admission in this college with this percentage of marks but you need to give entrance exam which is kind off a CAT exam where you have to answer basics questions.
