Yes you can change your branch after first year. But every college has different criteria for changing branches. Some require CGPA above 7 you must confirm with your college rules.

As you have studied IT in your +2, then you are eligible for getting admission in Amity for BCA. You need to make sure that you score atleast 50% in your +2. If you satisfy this requirement then you can easily get admission into BCA in Amity without any problem. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app which is specially designed and developed for BCA students. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C+ and Java with their outputs. You'll be studying these languages in your 3 years of BCA.

For MBA programs the admission is based on CAT/ MAT/GMAT/XAT score. However, if you have not appeared in CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT or your score is less than the required cut off accepted by Amity, then you can appear for Amity Written Test followed by GD and/or Interview on the day of selection process. This will be applicable to all specialized MBA programs only. The written test syllabus may covers the following areas as under :-
1. Verbal ability component
2. Quantitative aptitude component
3. Data analysis
4. Critical reasoning component
5. General awareness and knowledge Indian/Global.

I'll prefer you to opt for the Sharda as this college has better labs and faculty than the Amity in the animation course and also, this college has better internships opportunities than that of Amity, which is very important thing for any course.
