Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of April and ends in the month of September. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. Interested candidates can apply Both (Online and Offline), by filling up the required form and submitting online or offline as required.

That totally depends on what you want to learn. As you will be doing engineering you will learn the topics for 4 years and have to make projects and assignments. If you are confused in the subjects just google the syllabus and scheme for following subjects and look for topics, do a little research. After researching, you will find that you are interested in few subjects then choose the branch otherwise do more research and go accordingly. For college you should check your entrance exam number and what is college's cutoff for following branches.
