Applications for admission to PhD programme are screened by the Committee on Postgraduate Programmes (CPGP); shortlisted candidates are then called for an entrance test conducted by the University, followed by a PI round. UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test and called directly for PI round.

To be eligible for admission at Amrita School of Business Kollam, applicants must meet the following requirements:They must have a minimum aggregate of 50% in class 10, class 12 and undergraduate studies. Those in their final year can apply with their last completed semester results.They must have a valid test score in one of the following: Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT), CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, or GRE. Applicants appearing for these tests can apply with their test registration number.Candidates with work experience will be given preference and added advantage in the admission process.
