 Technology, education science, and other fields of study are the major courses provided at Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. It offers a B.Tech in 12 different fields, including computer Science and engineering, automation and robotics engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer and communication engineering, electrical and computer engineering, EEE, and ECE etc. Additionally, it offers M.Tech degrees in 19 various fields, including computer Science and engineering, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, data science, structural and construction, and cyber security etc.

Amrita University is a multi-disciplinary private institution, located across five campuses (Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Kochi, Mysore) in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. A young university, it was founded in 2003. Its eight student hostels accommodate over 3,500 people, with students expected to stay there for the duration of their course.
