Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Kochi admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The university shortlists candidates either based on entrance exam or personal interview/ merit. For Amrita Vishwa Kochi campus, admission is based on NEET, CAT,  MAT, XAT, etc. for admission to MBBS, MBA and other courses. For all other courses, admission is based on merit or a personal interview round.

Yes, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Kochi Campus accepts national-level entrance exams for admission to various courses. The campus accepts NEET for MBBS programme. CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, KMAT, etc. are accepts for admission to MBA courses. Besides, the university also considers NEET MDS score to offer admission to MDS. Amrita Vishwa Kochi conducts entrance exam for courses such as DM, MSc etc.

Amrita School of Arts and Sciences (ASAS) in Kochi, Kerala and the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) in Delhi are both good for teaching. However, ASAS may be better for placements. Teaching: Some say that UCMS has better academics and more rigorous testing schedules. Placements: ASAS may be better for placements.
