Admission to some of the courses is entrance-based while for others, the university considers merit in the last qualifying exam. In 2003, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham became one of the youngest institutes to become a deemed university, when it was conferred this status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Also, AVV Coimbatore has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC in 2009. Hence, this university is recognised.

You can get admission to B.Tech Aerospace Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham through their entrance exam. It is mandatory.
