Admission to various courses at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is both merit and entrance-based. Admission to some of the courses is entrance-based while for others, the university considers merit in the last qualifying exam. Candidates seeking for admission in B.Tech or M.Tech courses need to have a valid score in JEE Mains, GATE and TANCET. Meanwhile, for students who seeking admission in courses like B.Sc and M.S, need to have valid score in entrance exam such as AEEE, IISER and others. In 2003, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham became one of the youngest institutes to become a deemed university, when it was conferred this status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Also, AVV Coimbatore has been accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC in 2009. Hence, this university is recognised.

You can get admission to B.Tech Aerospace Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham through their entrance exam. It is mandatory. Also, they do check your board marks and rank which is one of the criteria's for qualifying.Entrance exams is actually compulsory to take admission in such courses. Without that it's difficult.
