Amrita Vishwa Amritapuri is the constituent unit of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham university which is private in nature. Amrita university was established in 1994 and is recognised by UGC and AICTE. Amrita Vishwa Amritapuri campus spans over 80 acres of land and provides ample space for learning. The college offers more than 20 UG and PG programs to the students. Additionally, Amrita Vishwa Amritapuri also offers certificate and Diploma courses in various streams.

Yes, the department provides scholarship in terms of fee reduction to students pursuing a course. The fee for students availing scholarship is less based on the slabs.

MSW is a two-year full-time residential course offered at the PG level. Candidates after completing graduation in any discipline can apply for the MSW course. Aspirants appearing for the final year exam can also apply for the MSW admission.

The department offers MSW and integrated MSW courses under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at UG and PG levels in the stream of Social Work. Candidates must complete Class 12 to apply for integrated MSW and graduation to apply for MSW course.

Candidates need to pass any of the national-level Management entrance exam for admission to MBA programme. The university accepts MAT/ XAT/ CAT/ GRE/ KMAT/ GMAT for admission to MBA course. Besides, aspirants must also complete graduation with at least 50% aggregate to apply for MBA. Those appearing for final year examinations of bachelor’s degree may also apply, subject to the completion of their examinations and viva-voce.
