Looking at the most popular specialisations, you can opt for MS in Ophthalmology, MS in Orthopaedics or MS4 in Pulmonary Medicine. You cannot get direct admission to Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, into the B.Tech course without appearing for the JEE Main examination. Though admission to B.Tech courses at GNDU is based on the scores secured in the JEE Main entrance exam, merit in the qualifying examination is also given due consideration for some other courses.However, GNDU does provide admission in some courses on merit only in the qualifying exams. B.Tech is not such course. If you wish to join a different course, which does not involve any entrance exam, then, based on your past performance in academics, you would qualify.

S R College Amritsar has different fees structure for SC students based on the course they intend to undertake. For example, BBA and (link unavailable) have total fee breakup INR 48300 and BA and (link unavailable) for total fee breakup INR 19500. The fee structure of the total MA course is INR 14,000. Also, the cost of the accommodation in the hostel is between INR 2,700 per month. As for the SC students, they have no need to pay any tuition fees, but they have to pay other charges like examination fees, library fees and hostel fees, etc.
