Passed 10+2 examination of Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination (such as 11+1, A level in Senior School leaving certificate course) from a recognized university of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent institution from a foreign country securing not less than 50% marks in case of general category applicants and 45% of the total marks in case of SC/ST applicants. The eligibility is Bachelor degree of Guru Nanak Dev University or a degree recognised as equivalent with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST).
Note :
1. The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for pursuing such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses.
2. The maximum age limit for the applicants for admission will be as decided by the Bar Council of India and approved by the syndicate from time to time. Mode of Admission:

Yes, Guru Nanak Dev University does offer distance learning programme for a variety of degrees and branches starting from M.Sc, B.Com and going on till LLB too. You can find the relevant details for the same on their website.

The minimum percentile is dependent on the category one belongs to. The first shortlisting is done roughly on the basis of category for all the students. The academic diversity helps one while calculating the composite score at the end of second round. The composite score is calculated for everyone with extra points for non engineering students. For IIM Lucknow, 5 point weight is given for non engineers this year and for Amritsar, Kashipur and Sirmaur, it is somewhat similar.
