Different channels have different salary offering in anchoring and news anchors have different salaries according to the channel.
The average salary for a news anchor is Rs 336,499 per year. People in this job generally don't have more than 10 years' of experience.

Yes, you can join this college for learning anchoring. It's okay if your English is not good. You have to read and write English daily to practice the vocabulary, and good accent. Rest is the job of the college to make a student perfect. But, you have to work hard on your own.

Hello Srinivas,
PG Diploma is considered equivalent to a post-graduate degree, however, even by many, it is not included as a degree course. It is a Diploma course. MA is a post-graduate degree. Moreover, journalism and mass communication together is a wide topic that will cover all the aspects. It is not just limited to journalism only. You will have more options (other than a journalist).
