A total of 950 state quota seats, 403 management quota seats were available for which candidates compete to seek admission in MD institutes in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates must note that this number is based on last year's data. This year, the number may undergo change. The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling process 2024 is likely to be conducted from August 2024 onwards.

Domicile is necessary for the NEET state counselling in 2024. Candidates must meet the state's specific NEET domicile requirements to qualify for state quota seats and private institutions which means the candidate must be a permanent resident of the particular state. Registration for NEET PG 2024 counselling began on September 20, 2024. Candidates will have to register and declare choice for college and course for counselling. Registration can be done at mcc.nic.in. Whole schedule for counselling will be available on the official website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), mcc.nic.in soon. The document verification process for Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling will be conducted offline. Therefore, candidates will have to report to the allotted institutes with the necessary documents for verification and complete the admission process by paying the requisite fees. Candidates have to ensure that the carry the original documents for the institute reporting or the document verification process, as photocopies will not be accepted.

No, the Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling application form will be available in online mode only. Candidates will have to visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling to register and then fill and submit the choices. Applications sent by post, or any other mode, will not be accepted.

No, according to the eligibility criteria set by MCI, only those candidates who will qualify the NEET PG entrance test will be able to participate in the Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling process. NBE or the conducting authority of NEET PG will send the list of qualifying candidates to the Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling authorities. Based on that, the merit list is released and only those candidates whose names feature in the merit list are eligible to participate in the NEET PG counselling process for Andhra Pradesh.

As per the Andhra Pradesh NEET State Rank List of last year, the cut-off marks for the previous year were: 138 for the General Category, 108 for the Backward Caste (BC), Scheduled Caste (SC), and TC, including PWD,  and 122 for the General PwD.
