No. There are certain situations in which correct interpretation of color can be critical; the primary example is traffic lights. Cooking can be a frustrating experience for a color blind individual. There won't be any effect on the creativity. Color blindness can make some jobs difficult, and others impossible. Working with animation, fashion & art can be extremely difficult as one will be unable to differentiate between some of the colors you'll be required to work with as an everyday part of your job.

Normally in maximum of the good animation institute also , there is normally no such cutoff range . Animation industry involves various skill set through out its pipeline , hence it does not concentrate only on academic output . You are welcome to animation industry, once you have adopted the required skills .
Only suggestion dont choose animation just because you have scored low, It is a very competitive field with very good scope , but only for the people who are passionate about it.

Probably this is the only industry which really does not judge one candidate only on his academic output. This is open to all the students , who feel they are creative , passionate about creativity , communication in English is up to the mark , got the right attitude & who has basic knowledge of computer. Percentage really does not matter much in maximum of the institutes.

Komna, Take any creative subjects or arts or languages. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richards William. Psychology and Literature are two useful subjects. Try to participate in Writing, Drawing/ Painting, Sports, Dramatics, Music, Singing etc. whatever is possible for you. You may also like to read this about the kind
