Design has better scope than animation and has been around longer than animation. Good institutes like NID, NIFT, etc. Provide good placements with high packages.

Hello,
You may google the colleges who provides M.Sc in animation, what I can suggest you, if possible get into any animation/gaming studio and start on live projects, instead of going to do M.Sc. In animation. In India and in this field degrees does not matter, your actual work skills matters. Thank you.

Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. If you wish to pursue a career in VFX Animation, then Diploma in VFX and 3D Animation from Anibrain School of Media Design includes:

Depends on the institute you are considering to pursue the course from and city in which the institute is located. For an instance I hold certification of graphic design course taken up from RICCS institute a government NEILIT certified that was inclusive of Adobe Photoshop, Core Draw and logo making, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Query and Bootstrap that cost me around Rs. 16000 in total.
