The entire process is pretty straight forward and it is explained in brief:
1. You need to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in each physics, chemistry and maths. For marine engineering, however, you need 60% marks in these 3 subject plus 50% in English.
2. Once the results are out, you need to fill the application form either online at 5. Make sure you keep all your marksheets and a demand draft (DD) of Rs. 500/- handy at the time of filling the application form.
3. If you have filled the online form, you'll have to take a print out of the completed form. Submit the printout/physical form along with a DD for Rs. 500/- at one

You may better contact the controller of examinations of Anna University as they may have a better idea regarding this.
Kindly visit the website for updates regarding the counselling:
www.annauniv.edu and www.tnea.ac.in
Still, there is no official information regarding the date of counselling. It will be posting the NEET counselling which is scheduled for July 17.
