For MS abroad, you need to appear for GRE according to which you will get best university. You can apply for German Universities whose tuition fees are negligible and you can also work to earn daily expenses by working 20 hours in a week. Other options are Canada, New Zealand etc. Thanks.

Apart from CSE, Mech, Elec, EEE and ETC, you will get all branches in this college. You won't get civil but under the SSC course, you can get civil if luck favours.
Hope:-
If you study well for a year keeping in your mind to enjoy rest 3 years, study hard and be consistent in the first year, and keep a good CGPA and change your branch.

MIT offers only 8 courses if I am not wrong where as PSG offers 18 different courses now including Robotics. Aeronautical is good in MIT where as PSG doesn't have the course. Location also matters when you choose a college. I had around 15 guys in my batch ( BE Production) 20082012 from Chennai when they had the option to take any course from MIT and a few available courses from CEG, even then they preferred PSG to CEG/MIT. Guys who want to do research kind of courses they could take biotech and Biomed. One of my friends who studied biotech in PSG is now doing some kind of research abroad. Final choice should be yours. But here are some points that can guide you. SSN is a self-financing college under Anna University and so the Semester exam corrections ***! Even if you perform well, you will not get a grade as expected by you in the University examinations. There are good students who fail in any exam too and may or may not clear that subject after revaluations. The grades can affect your future job prospects whereas in MIT, which is Anna University, the same subject lecturer or any other professor from the same department will evaluate the papers. PSG Coimbatore are better than SSN Chennai as you can compare it by the ranking difference gap between them(approx.25) and their placement record.

Hello Lokesh,
I have not understood your term of "my cut-off". This year, TN has decided to give admissions based on marks obtained in 12th exam. Hence any data of previous year is of no use. Your admission will depend on how those ahead of you give their choice.

Under the other-state quota, candidates who are Indian citizens but not a native of Tamil Nadu can apply. Qualifying Exam and Marks: Candidates need to score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCM taken together (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in HSC or equivalent exam.

Admission to B.Arch. degree programme offered in the University Department of Anna University, Government Aided Engineering College and for the seats surrendered by the Self Financing Engineering Colleges under the unified Single Window Admission System for Indian Nationals.
