You can apply for Anna University through other state students application. Generally, there will be no entrance exam and so you can get admission based on your board exam marks itself. For more information, you may refer www.tnea.ac.in.

Qualifying Exam and Marks: Candidates need to score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in PCM taken together (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in HSC or equivalent exam.

The cut-off score varies every year so it all depends on the first day of counselling. It's good to have 195 plus marks.
