Dear!
You could have much better options then Anna University in south India. If the private college is technical only options you are left with then you may consider VIT Vellore or SRM Chennai for B.Tech. Anna is not up to the mark. It's ranking is low and placement index is also not high as such.

Anna University have no entrance exam specifically. But, they will accept through TNEA and JEE.

To take admission in Anna University, TANCET exam is mandatory. You cannot get admission there without qualifying TANCET exam. So, you have to sit in exam and qualify. Good luck.

Yes, after completing your graduation you can join M.Tech biotechnology. As after graduation you will be able to study M. Tech. So, you can try to get admission in a good college.

Sorry to say, but B.tech in food technology requires physics, chemistry and maths subject from 10+2.
Infact, B.Sc in food tech also asks 50% or 55% aggregate in 10+2 with subjects physics, chemistry, maths and biology/home science.
There maybe some colleges offering diploma/graduate degree under B.Sc in food tech without maths.
