Yes, your score is pretty good, but in Anna University, class 12th marks is given some preference in ranking, so if your score is pretty good, then you would definitely get your dream branch.

No, for getting Anna University, you have to be a domicile of Tamil Nadu or your parents. If you are not a domicile of Tamil Nadu, you must have done your +2 from Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu doesn't have any state entrance exam admission is given on the basis of +2 marks.

The Government of Tamil Nadu established the Anna University of Technology on 4 September 1978 through Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1978. The new university was formed from the erstwhile University of Madras faculty of engineering and technology and consisted of four institutes: Madras Institute of Technology, College of Engineering, Guindy, Alagappa College of Technology and School of Architecture and Planning. In 1982, the current name "Anna University" was adopted.

Hello Shilajit,
It is difficult to get a seat at Anna University with a score of 70 to 80 %. Since it is a reputed institution you need to have a score of more than 90% in your 12th class.

Anna University organizes an entrance exam for admission in master courses.
One must be a graduate in order to apply for M.Sc Program while for M.Phil. Program admissions, post graduates in the related field of interest may apply. You may refer to the complete eligibility criteria for more.
The application form can be filled online and the printout of the completed application can be submitted either in person or through post. The application form is common for both the programs.
