Hello Venkata,
You need to enroll for a single window counseling program through which you will be allotted seats based on your board exam marks alone. The counseling will be separately held for students from other state which is usually after Tamil Nadu admissions.

Hello Vineesh,
Yes you can. You need to enroll for a single window counseling program through which you will be allotted seats based on your marks in HSC.
There will be a separate counseling process for students from other states and it would commence after the admission of Tamil Nadu students.

Dear Subasree, if you are looking for Government quota admissions, you can certainly wait for TANCET. However many students prefer SSN in specific and do not wait until TANCET. They are likely to appear for any of the all India admission tests as mentioned by Ms. Srikrupa and seek admission during the period December 2017-April 2018. We do have several rounds of GD-PI during these months as soon as the test results are announced for each of the tests. Hello Aniket,
After diploma, a student can seek lateral admission directly in 2nd of engineering. However there is a catch. These admissions are restricted to within same state. Hence I am afraid, you will have to seek admission in a college in Maharashtra only.

Hello Balgunan,
Yes, Diploma holders of mechanical branch are normally allowed admission via lateral entry into aeronautical engineering branch in the same state.

The admission is based on your board exam marks only. You need to enroll for a single window counseling program (TNEA) through which you will be allotted colleges.
There will be a separate admission portal, if you are not a Tamil Nadu native candidate.
