The cut-off varies based on your caste. For general category, you need to have 199.5 /200 while for BC, 199/200 and if you belong to SC or ST category then it is sufficient to have 195/200.

TNEA is not an exam ; it is a counseling process through which you would be allotted seats in the colleges under Anna University.
You need not write an entrance exam. You board exam marks are alone considered for admission.

To get admission, you should score minimum 65% marks in your Diploma, and you should pass the entrance exam. To write entrance exam, go to the college's website and apply online when admissions are open.

The admission is based on your board exam marks alone. There are no other entrance exams or admission procedures other than this.
You need to enroll for single window counseling by Anna University called TNEA through which you will be allotted colleges.
Fee structure:
The fee structure for Anna University and its campuses will be around 10,000-20,000/- (tuition fees) only per annum.

The admission into Anna University is based on your board exam marks only. There is no separate entrance exam. You need to enroll for single window counseling by Anna University called TNEA through which you will be allotted colleges.

The admission into IITs for any course is based on the JEE advanced exam only. So you need to clear JEE main and then JEE advanced with a good rank so that you can get a seat for biotechnology in IIT.
To get admission at Anna University, your board exam marks alone are considered and there is no entrance exam. Your cut off in PCB out of 200 is considered.

For Jadavpur, WBJEE needs to be given and Djibouti takes admission through JEE Mains.
