Hi,
For the previous year (2016) cut off marks for all the colleges under Anna University you may refer:
www.cutoff.tnea.ac.in
For general category your cut off to get CEG campus of Anna University, you need to have 199 cut off marks.

Hi,
The admission is also dependent on your caste. If you belong to general category, then your cut off should be at least 198 or above. For BC, you need to have a cut off of 196 or above.
For MBC, you need to have 190 and above.
For SC it is 185 and above and for ST it is 180 and above.
These are for CEG campus only. If you have a good cut off then you can get the other colleges under Anna University.

HI,
The admission into Anna University and its affiliated colleges is based on your caste also. If you belong to general category then this cut off marks is not enough.
So it will be better if you tell your exact cut off marks and the category.
Your overall score will not be considered.

No, it is not possible to get admission in Anna University with a percentage of just 61. For getting admission at CEG campus of Anna University, you need to have at least 95%.

Hello Udhaya Kumar,
The application forms were issued in the month of May. It was an online registration process. The last date for registration was May 31st and the last date for submission was on June 3rd.
As the applications are closed right now, you may try for other colleges if you haven't given for counselling.

Hi,
You need to apply for single window counselling under Anna University. With this cut off scores, as a general category student, it is really difficult to get a seat in Anna University and SSN College of Engineering, Kalavakkam.

Hi,
Both VIT and Anna University are reputed institutions in India. So it is better to study in any of these institutions.
The only thing is the fee structure as VIT is a private university, the fees is quite huge.

In this link, you need to use an advanced search means you need to select the name of the college, district and caste for knowing the cut off.

As per this cut off marks if you belong to SC / ST then you may get a seat in MIT or SSN.
