The Anna University will host the TNEA 2023 (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) examination. Candidates can apply through this for admission to a variety of UG engineering programmes, including B.E./B.Tech degree programmes. Every year, a state-level admissions process is carried out.The admission of students to all the programmes is through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.

The candidates can easily get into the College of Engineering, Anna University. You only have to score 95% + marks in the 10+2 classes from a recognized board. The Cutoff for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Exam (TNAE) is about 85% for the College. However, there is no entrance exam for admission to engineering courses at Anna University, and allotment is done on the basis of merit.

The College of Engineering, Anna University provides quite a impressive package for the students of CSE Students.The highest package of the CSE branch was about Rs 30 Lacs Per Annum and the average package was nearly Rs 6.5LPA, which is quite impressive.Many Giant tech companies have visited the campus during the placement session.

For general category students, a score of 199.5 to 200 out of 200 in the 10+2 examination is likely to secure a seat on the basis of merit. The eligibility criteria for TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) state that candidates should have a minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together in 12th grade. The minimum average marks required for general category students is 45%.
