The faculty of Anna University is good and highly qualified. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. As per verified student reviews on Shiksha.com, Anna University faculty has been rated 4 out of 5 stars. According to students in review section, the faculty is said to be very generous, fun loving and problem solving in nature. Students are of the view that they solve their doubts and queries instantaneously. Although, some students mentioned that a few faculty members are rude but knowledgeable.

Yes, Anna University offers various scholarships to its students. Some of the scholarships offered by the university include Tamil Nadu e-District Community Scholarship, Hostel Loan Scholarship, Anna Award, and CM Award. The library is housed in a three storeyed Building located at the eastern side in the main campus. The total area of the Library building is about 4122 sq.m. About 30 video cameras are placed at strategic points in the library for surveillance. The MIT campus also has a library of area 1256 sq.m. Around 10,157 registered uses are in access of the library. Many knowledge-based services like that of Reference, Bibliography, MALIBNET service., DELNET, Reprography, Internet browsing and e-services are provided by the library for its users.

Anna University College of Engineering campus provides hostel facilities. The CEG Hostels comprise 22 blocks (located at the CEG Campus), out of which boys are accommodated in 14 blocks. The rooms have an attached washroom, television set, and intercom connectivity to the entire campus. The hostels have messes that serve hygienic and nutritious meals to students. The total tuition fee for the BTech CSE course is INR 2 lakh. The BTech CSE course is offered by JNN Institute of Engineering. Anna University BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the TNEA entrance exam, followed by a counselling round. Candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the BTech course. The criteria is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with PCM with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
