If you wants to pursue the PG degree (M.Tech/M.E) from a reputed IISc, IITs and NITs etc. Than you must have to appear in GATE-2020 exam. Hi, Admissions to various engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu are controlled by Anna University. TNEA or Tamil Nadu Engineering admission process is not examination for entry into engineering colleges. It's only a process through which a prospective students are expected to apply hence you also need to apply via TNEA as an outside state candidate for seeking admission in various colleges which are coordinated by Anna University. Remember admissions are on the basis of marks obtained in 12th only. Best wishes.

Anna University fees structure is like Rs. 36,250 per year that would totally cost you Rs. 1,45,000 for the 4 years of your B.Tech degree. Placements are better in LPU because of a large number of companies visiting the campus of LPU, a great infrastructure, world-class facilities. Good and average packages both can be achieved here in LPU that depends on the students potential.

Hello, It's good to know that you are interested in seeking admission in any college under Anna University. But why not in Andhra College? I am afraid, every state is becoming more and more restrictive by enforcing conditions of domicile. Only unaided colleges gave some management quota under which students from other states have some chance. Everything that you want to know about centralised admission process in engineering colleges is available on the web portal of Anna University. Best wishes to you.

From last year onwards Tamil Nadu government has disbanded any entrance exam for admissions to different engineering courses. Now, the admissions are based on the marks obtained in class 12th examination. In the initial years, there was a big restriction for outside state students from appearing for seeking admission in engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, but with the seats not getting filled up the government has relented and now outside state students can also seek admission in engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu under quota called as quota for outside state students.
