After the shortlisting process, selected candidates must present original and self-attested photocopies of documents for verification purposes at the university. Annamalai University considers marks obtained in the 12th state board examinations for admission to various courses. For undergraduate programs, the university considers the 12th grade point averages of candidates for admission.For B.P.Ed, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English with at least 65% marks from a recognised board. For M.P.Ed, candidates are required to score at least 70% marks in the selection tests followed by a written test and personal interview. For M.B.A, M.C.A, M.E/M.Tech, the university offers admission based on TANCET scores followed by an interview. The admission procedure varies depending on the course for which a student applies.

On its homepage, click on “Admissions On-Campus Portal”.On the left menu of the landing page, click on the 'Application Online' link that opens a drop-down menu.Click on the stream containing the programme you wish to apply to. On clicking the stream tab, a new page opens up.On this page, the prospectus of all the programmes is available, followed by registration links. Click on the programme you wish to apply for under the 'New Applicant' tab.The registration page opens up. Register by filling in details, including name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. Also, create an alpha-numeric password for future logins. Hit the ‘Submit’ button once done.The Annamalai University application form opens up. Fill in other details, including personal information, qualifications, guardian details, etc.Select the payment method. In case of offline payment, visit the nearest ICICI Bank to deposit the money using net banking.Upload all the required documents in PDF format along with a passport-size photo of less than 50 kb in JPEG/ JPG format.Conclude the application process by taking a printout of the application form.
