For admission to MBA course of Annamalai University DDE, it is necessary that aspirants meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed a bachelor's degree programme of at least three years duration from a recognised university are eligible for admission. Additionally, the AICTE 2024-27 norms for ODL and OL are also considered. The applicants must have the relevant documents with them as a proof of eligibility.

The DDE at Annamalai University offers an AICTE-approved MBA programme. The programme is offered with an option to choose five different specialisations. Students can pursue the programme as a cost-effective way to advance their skills and qualification. The MBA programme at DDE is offered with very low fees. Annamalai University Chidambaram is a government university therefore the fee for various courses is less. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships provided by the university. Those students whose parent's annual income is not more than INR 2.50 LPA can apply for Post Matric Scholarship for BC/MBC/DNC Students, Higher Education Special Scholarship for SC/ST/SCCC Students and Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/SCCC Students.
