According to the official Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern, the authorities will conduct the examination in English. All questions will be in English language and no other regional language will be used for the examination. Candidates are advised to prepare for the examination in English, since they will need to understand the questions. In case of any problems in the examination hall, the candidates can ask the invigilators for help.

Candidates will be able to check the details regarding the examination mode, duration, marking scheme, sections, types of questions and more through the Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern. Candidates are advised to check the exam pattern carefully before commencing their preparation process for Andhra Pradesh ECET. This will allow the candidates to understand how the examination will be conducted and accordingly prepare for it.

According to the official authorities, Andhra Pradesh ECET paper will consist of four sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. Out of the available Engineering papers, the candidates will be able to choose from the following courses - Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics & Communication/ Computer/Chemical/Metallurgical /Mining/ Electronics & Instrumentation/  Ceramic Technology/Bio-Technology. The syllabus to be studied for the examination will be different as per the course selected by the authorities.

There will be four sections in the Andhra Pradesh ECET paper. During the examination, the candidates will have to answer objective multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering paper. While the questions from Mathematics (50 questions), Physics (25 questions) and Chemistry (25 questions) will be common for all branches, the Engineering paper questions will be different for each course. A total of 100 questions have to be answered for the Engineering paper section.

According to the official Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern, the duration of the entrance examination is 3 hours. Candidates will have to attempt 200 questions within the allotted duration. No extra time will be provided to the candidates to complete the entrance examination. There will be no specific allotted time for every section, however, the entire paper has to be completed within 3 hours. To ensure that the candidates are prepared to complete the examination on time, they are advised to work on their time management skills.

AP ECET question paper will be divided into four sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. The candidates will have to answer 50 questions from Mathematics and 25 each from Physics and Chemistry sections. Meanwhile for the selected Engineering paper, the candidates will have to attempt 100 questions. The questions for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry section will be common for all branches. Andhra Pradesh ECET will consist of objective multiple-choice questions and the total duration of the examination is 3 hours.

No. the authorities have not revised the Andhra Pradesh ECET 2025 syllabus. The candidates will have to study the same Andhra Pradesh ECET syllabus as the previous year. In case of any revision in the Andhra Pradesh ECET syllabus, the authorities will notify the candidates online through a common announcement. Until any announcement, the candidates are advised to study the topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and selected engineering paper prescribed by the Andhra Pradesh ECET authorities.

AP ECET 2025 mock test will be released soon at the official webste. The candidates will be able to access the Andhra Pradesh ECET mock test online. To access the mock test, no log in credentials will be required. Candidates will be able to boost their preparation for the entrance examination by attempting mock tests regularly and identifying their progress. Through the mock test, the candidates will have a good knowledge on how the examination will be conducted.

The authorities will release the official Andhra Pradesh ECET marking scheme online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. As per the official marking scheme, one mark will be allotted to every correct response. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. It is to be noted that unattempted questions will not be negatively marked. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to have a higher chance of securing their desired scores.

Yes. Andhra Pradesh ECET will be held as a computer-based test for all registered and eligible candidates. The authorities will conduct the entrance examination at various centres. During the exam, the candidates will have to attempt 200 objective multiple-choice questions. The question paper will be prepared based on the topics of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and the selected engineering paper. Out of the given options, the candidates will have to select the correct one.
