Candidates who meet the qualifying requirements will be allowed to apply for the exam. The candidate must be an Indian national who lives in Andhra Pradesh. The candidate must meet the local/non-local dwelling status conditions outlined in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974, and subsequent amendments. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (unreserved category). Students in the reserved group must achieve 45%.

The AP PGECET Phase II Seat Allotment result will be released on the official website. The official notification will be available after the completion of the PGECET exam 2025. As per 2024 updates, the official notification for AP PGECET Phase II was released in the second week of September 2024 for GATE-qualified candidates. The Phase II seat allotment result was announced in the fourth week of September 2025 for GATE and GPAT-qualified candidates. Self-reporting and reporting at colleges by candidates will start in the first week of October 2025 for both AP PGECET and GATE-qualified candidates.

The exam-conducting authority released the Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2025 admit card on May 2025 online for registered candidates on the official website. Candidates need to log in to the official website using login credentials to download the Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2025 admit card. Also, candidates will have to carry the Andhra Pradesh PGECET admit card on exam day. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card. A direct link to download the admit card will be updated on this page once released.
