AP POLYCET Pattern

No, there will not be any breaks in between the sections of Andhra Pradesh POLYCET. Candidates will have to attempt all questions in every section within the allotted duration. Candidates will only be allowed to leave the exam centre after the conclusion of the examination. The authorities will not allow any candidates to leave the examination hall in-between the exam. Candidates will be able to skip sections and attempt other questions before going back to the unattended ones. All answers have to be marked correctly in the OMR sheet.

In Andhra Pradesh POLYCET, the candidates will have to attempt a total of 120 multiple-choice questions. Out of the total number of questions, there will be 50 questions for Mathematics (A), 40 questions for Physics (B) and 30 questions for Chemistry (C). As per the official Andhra Pradesh POLYCET marking scheme, the candidates will be given one mark for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking for incorrect responses. The authorities will not deduct any marks for unatttempted questions. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt as many questions as they can to have a higher chance of securing the marks that they need for admissions into their preferred courses and colleges.

The question paper is divided into three sections - Mathematics (A), Physics (B) and Chemistry (C).
