Yes, you can apply for the university but you have done you class 12th with a recognised board with any stream.

If you are totally interested in game design, you have gaming colleges in Bangalore and Hyderabad. If not animation doesn't cope with games , animation is totally different compare with game design.

Please plan what you want to do after BFA. According to me, if you do not wish to pursue Science then you should consider other courses like BBA+MBA integrated from IPM, or law, etc. Don't make career choices without extensive research.
