Hi,
I would personally not recommend pursuing Bachelor of Visual Arts in Applied Arts and Graphic Design from distance learning in India if you do not get any classes to do practicals. Graphic designing is all about practicals and industry awareness. You may surely pursue this course via distance mode if you are already practicing the same on the job. I would suggest you do "On the job" training if possible, and pursue the course simultaneously. Once you complete the course, you may join as the below-mentioned options:

Most BFA fine art programs start with a foundation year where you learn art and design fundamentals before you have to declare a degree focus. There is also quite a bit of overlap in degree requirements that it is relatively easy to switch programs (core requirements for one will be elective requirements for another). For admission in applied arts, candidate needs to have minimum 50% in 12th. A minimum of 45% is required for candidates having Drawing/ Painting/ Sculpture/ Applied Art as one of the subjects in 10+2.

Admission to Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Art is based on the 12th class percentage. Before applying, I would suggest you to have a word in the college regarding the consideration of Gujarati Board.
