Applied arts the application of design and decoration to everyday objects to make them aesthetically pleasing. The term is applied in distinction to the fine arts, which AIMS to produce objects which are beautiful or provide intellectual stimulation. In practice, the two often overlap. Applied art is essentially design, decorative, or illustrative art which though sometimes really craft worthy or painterly is not highly regarded by most students and collectors of art.

In European academic traditions, fine art is art development primarily of aesthetics or beauty distinguishing it from applied arts which also has to serve some practical function such as pottery or most network Fine art is drawing sculpting and painting original works Printing is usually not considered a fine art though printers might well and sensibly disagree.Applied art is essentially design decorative or illustrative art which though sometimes really craft worthy or painterly is not highly regarded by most students and collector of art

For the first question, you have to practice still life in pencil. Just pick any random objects of different materials, place them and start making them on paper. Make sure you shade background and foreground as well. The second question will be based on your specialisation, for eg: applied art candidates will be expected to make a composition on given topics in mediums such as water color, poster, pencil color, oil pastels, etc. The final question will comprise of theory questions related to art. It's not too difficult, all the best.
