Yes, M.Sc applied psychology is different from MSc counseling psychology. After completing Counseling psychology, a person can get opportunities in counseling clinic only. After completing applied psychology, the person has many opportunities like, Clinical psychology, Sports psychology, Industrial/Organizational psychology and forensic psychology. The practical application include treating patients, in extreme cases prescription too; research on the psychological approach to human and animal behavior.
