In the placements of IIPH - Hyderabad of 2024 session the average package offered was 6LPA and the highest package offered was 20LPA. 90% of students were placed during placements.Whereas the highest package at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in 2024 was INR 54 LPA and the average package is INR 5 to 6 LPA.Both Colleges are good at their own place but Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences offers more placement packages.

To apply for ISRO after MSc in Mathematics, you need to clear the ISRO Scientist/Engineer Entrance Exam (ISRO SET). Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, MGM University has various clubs and societies. Students are free to participate in these clubs and societies. The college also arranges various events and seminars for students. The entry and exit in these clubs is totally free and the university does not charge for the same. MGM SBAS students can also take part in the inter-college competitions.

University Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, MGM University offers a BSc programme at the UG level. The total fee for the entire course is INR  20,000 - 2 Lacs for all the consecutive years. The fee for the entire course is inclusive of tuition fees, hostel charges, mess charges, and all the other facilities provided by the college. Candidates seeking admission to the University Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, MGM University are required to pay a one-time fee upon receiving a shortlist to secure final seats.

The college accepts the score of the MGMU CET entrance exam conducted by MGM University for admission.
