You may get a decent seat with these marks if you are not from general category and you may need not write NATA again.

Hello Aadhithya,
For admission into B.Arch courses at IITs, you need to clear JEE main papers 1&2. Then, you also need to clear JEE Advanced after which you will be eligible to give AAT (Architecture aptitude test). Based on the scores in AAT, you can get admission for B.Arch in IITs.

Hello Aadhithya,
For B. Arch courses at VIT University, you need to have a good score in NATA exam. There are no separate entrance exams for b. Arch at VITEEE and only Chennai campus offers this course.

If you think you need to drop a year you should definitely take a gap of one year and register for coaching to clear your NATA/JEE Mains-2 papers. However, you should only take this path if you feel you will be unable to cope with preparations during or after your +2 level of schooling. Good Luck!!

Conducted by the Council of Architecture, NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a national level common Aptitude Test in Architecture. The exam measures the applicants' drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to Architecture.
A single window exam, NATA is used for admissions to first year of 5 year B.Arch Degree Course at all recognized Institutions only in India. NATA 2018 exam dates will be declared soon. In 2017, the exam was held offline on a single day on April 16.
