B.Arch programme at LPU is one of the leading programme in India. B.Arch at LPU is a good choice based on my own personal experience. The faculty is very experienced and highly educated. In the programme, innovative teaching practices are adopted. One such practice is called Experiential learning week which is organized every semester in which students are taken to nearby historic and construction sites and are given live case studies to do. In design studios, the professors encourage students to take challenging and practical design problems. There is a rich culture of internships for final year students who go for very challenging and top placements nationally as well as internationally through department. The department is actively working to arrange internships by making a cluster of architectural and consultant firms with them. A series of guest lectures and talks are organized throughout the year in school of architecture in which world-renowned architects are invited. The eligibility is 50% in 10+2 with English,Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics ( and also 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) + NATA 2021 / JEE Main (Paper II) or State Level Test (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2021-22)
OR 50% with Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognized by Central/ State Govt. (with Mathematics) + NATA 2021 / JEE Main (Paper II) or State Level Test (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2021-22)
B.Arch in LPU is C.O.A approved professional degree offering elite architectural education nourishing students with designing and software skills.Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in consultancy and research to add immense value to the academic life.100% placements are done every year in reputed firms.Educational field visits proposed to understand different architectural styles.
