B.Arch is a 5 year professional degree course. One can go for a job after B.Arch for a good experience or can start own consultancy firm (firm needs experience which one can get only after job). Council of Architecture (COA) India provides license for practicing as an architect. 'Generally' there are no placements in B.Arch but in no way it means architects are jobless. They have plenty of options to earn as assistant architect in good firms under reputed architects or start their own firm in any city. Architects build their own name, have their own individual identity, and they are their own Boss. It is just like doctors, do they go f

Parametric architecture has brought a great deal of change to the architecture profession. It has contributed to the creation of a tangible space that will not only last years and the digital age but will also help shape the way forward to a more sustainable and expressive way of designing. Every design, after all, is based on parameters. However, the future scope for such architecture is not great in India, primarily because one, it is a very expansive course, and two, people here don't have a taste for it. But again, the cost is the major factor, and honestly, I don't SEE the point of such architecture in our country, where a lot of

According to my knowledge, both engineering and architecture have a good scope in India. But engineering has more opportunities in countries like India because there are many sub-branches in it. Engineering students in India are increasing year after year, but the lower number of architecture students is actually a benefit. Choosing a branch or course depends on your interest or passion, so I recommend choosing according to your interest. Architect salary in India ranges between INR 3.0 LPA to INR 40.0 LPA with an average annual salary of INR 19.1 LPA. Engineer salary in India ranges between INR 2.4 LPA to INR 10.3 LPA with an average

Without a doubt. It's a great idea to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture at Chandigarh University. Seats are scarce, and candidates are chosen on the basis of merit. Therefore, you must ACT quickly to catch the bus. I'll be very truthful about the specifics here: Not every applicant to the top engineering and architectural universities who takes the admission exam succeeds in getting into the school. However, no parent wants their child to spend their formative years at a facility where they won't receive formal training or an opportunity for a good job. In this aspect, CU offers a well-rounded combination of theory, applications, indus

So you have to hurry before you miss the bus. But then, no parent wants their wards formative years whiled away in an institute, where they will not be given formal training and suitable placement opportunity. In this regard, CU has a wholesome mix of theory, practicals, industry exposure with inte

Doing B.Arch through distance mode is not valid. So avoid this. You need to take lateral admission in any AICTE approved Institute for B.Arch.
