Hello, hope you are doing well.
Yes, definitely, you are eligible to get NIT on the basis of OBC NCL ranking because with CRL ranking, it may not be possible to get an NIT. You should try for MANIT Bhopal, NIT Warangal, NIT Calicut, etc.
Also, you have a chance to opt for IITs also. Find the best one and go for counselling.

Architecture is not the same as IITs or IIMs. Here you have to intern, gradually increase your experience and skills, and the salary also increases with experience. You start with a very very small salary 25k or less and than it can increase upto anything. You get the best experience under reputed architects. And usually these reputed architects don't give much salary and often work individually with few people under them. In such firms you get an overall exposure of the field.

Bachelor of architecture graduates can find opportunities in eminent organizations like RITES, ISRO, SBI and UTIITSL. They can apply for Graduate Executive Trainee position in RITES and can get selected on clearing written exam and interview.
