Almost, all the courses are available for distance learning programs. Especially, private universities provide good platforms for courses to be pursued through distance learning. It is suggested that you visit official websites of universities, such as LPU, Amity and navigate through courses. Also, you can directly call on their toll-free number and inquire about the fee structure and related aspects. Especially, Management, Commerce and Arts courses are readily available.
All the best.

Hello Yogi, It's very nice to hear that you are interested in joining territorial army and that for this you want to do graduation in engineering via distance mode. Let me caution you. UGC has once again reiterated that no university can offer any professional course including engineering by means of distance education. Hence you will have to think of either doing this on regular basis or think of obtaining some other degree by distance education. Best wishes.

Hi Sail,
Promotions for soldiers is based upon training performance every willing soldier opts for. For example N Cadre, for becoming a Naik (two stripes), H Cadre for promotion as Havildar (three stripes) and so on. Once qualified he is promoted as per seniority and availability of vacancy. After serving in that rank for around 5 years, a sepoy is promoted to Lance Naik (one arm strip). After another 4-5 years, he is promoted to Naik (corporal in western armies). A naik wears 2 arm strips. Subedar-Major is the highest rank that a soldier who join as a sepoy can attain.
