Indian Army does not directly hire defense technology specialist. Army engineers are trained in specialized defense technologies at IITs, DRDO and Defence Institute of Advance Technology - Pune.

You are advised to appear for Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination conducted by UPSC to join as an Officer after BA honors economics. You will not be eligible for training at IMA as a women candidate. You will be trained at OTA-Chennai. If you have NCC C certificate, you can directly appear for service selection board by processing application via Directorate of NCC under the Ministry of Defense.

First of all, you need not do B.Tech and M.Tech to join Indian Army as technical officers. You have following options to join Indian Army as a commissioned officer:
(a) Join army through NDA and chose technical corp after completion of training at NDA & IMA. Army educates selected candidates to become mechanical and telecommunication engineer. Selection is based on NDA exam conducted by UPSC after B.Tech/M.Tech.
(b) Join OTS Chennai in 10+2 Technical Direct Entry scheme. This is open for male candidates who have passed 12th Class with physics, chemistry and mathematics with not less than 70%. Those who make it in merit list based on mar

Yes. You need to have minimum 75% in class 12th (PCM). With 77.77%, you will definitely get a call letter for SSB interview.

If you have done graduation degree, you can appear for CDS examination conducted by UPSC to join Indian Army as a Commissioned Officer. But you will not be able to utilise your hotel management expertise.

You should prepare for NDA exam after completing class 12th. For NDA exam, the basic requirements are as follows:
1. You should complete class 12th exam.
2. You can prepare for current affairs, reasoning, mathematics and English. You can go through previous question papers from competition success review magazine.
3. You can appear for NDA exam.
4. You can prepare for SSB interview.

To join Army as an Army Officer you must qualify one of the following exams:
After 12th - NDA followed by SSB
Or
After Graduation - CDS followed by SSB
Or
After Engineering - Direct SSB
Or
If you are NCC 'C' Certificate holder then you can directly appear for SSB interview.
