Hey, I know this question has been thought in almost every engineer's mind who are about to start their journey with coding. As you know, AI is taking over the almost every field and ofcourse in upcoming future it has wide range of scope with highly paying jobs. But as an Engineer, we should not stick to the only area. As we can study other things also.I personally suggests you to go with CSE branch as it has wide scope and you will not be bounded to only one field.I hope you receive all the answers to your questions.

It will be difficult to gain admission to VIT Vellore, but you can secure a seat in CSE. It will probably fall into the fourth category if you are accepted. In other VIT branches, your chances are better. You can secure a seat at VIT Chennai, albeit most likely in the third or fourth category.
