Dear Vaibhavi, Lovely Professional University is good for the Performing Arts programme. My friend did a Bachelor of Performing Arts from LPU and is now pursuing an MFA as well from LPU itself. Bachelor of Performing Arts is four years internationally accepted degree programme in Theatre that provides intensive training in Theatre Arts and include professionally apt field projects like T. V and Film production along with Interdisciplinary inputs on event management, IT adds to the employability of the students. Placements: Above 65% of the students get placed from the University. The salary packages offered depends on the company and the student. Record labels & music companies visit the campus for recruitment. Almost 50% of students got internships in multiple music companies & film companies in India. Roles offered were as Vocal artists, Composers, morning music producers, singer-songwriters, music directors, etc. For Admission in this programme, candidates just need to pass the percentage only in the qualifying exam. Although, LPU NEST is not required to qualify one can take this exam to avail or increase their scholarships. 4) There is a free gym and an indoor sports facility available. There are four different scholarship categories to choose from. As in A+, A, B, and C. Students received a scholarship grading based on their success in sports over the previous two years, and they in turn received scholarship benefits based on the category of games. If a student has not had an exemplary performance in the previous two years, they can apply for LPU's TABS (Trial and Audition Based Scholarships). Students may obtain scholarship gradation based on their performance in TABS (as determined by the sports committee). However, this Sports scholarship is not auto-renewable. To keep the scholarship, students must obtain a certain number of points each year.
