Yes, direct admission is possible to AMACE. The main source of seeking admission directly to the college happens through the management quota. People not getting through based on any entrance exams or TNEA results may seek admission to the college by obtaining seats under the management quota. Eligibility criteria are mostly passing in high secondary with minimum percentage marks in relevant subjects. On direct admission, one can find the information through the college's website or in the admission office, especially if it refers to special procedures and fees.

The B.E./B.Tech course has an admission to the Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman College of Engineering through management quota without TNEA. Though the government quota seats under TNEA forms the major mode of getting admission to the college, they also provide direct admissions through the management quota to students not entering TNEA. You would still need a minimum eligibility criterion that might include a 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The fee ranges for the seats taken under the management quota are usually much higher than in the government quota admissions.
