The tuition fee for the English/Hindi Journalism courses at IIMC Aizawl has been increased from INR 79,000 to INR 95,000 per year. In contrast, the Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Multimedia Journalism, with tuition fees of INR 4.60 Lacs for a 10-month course and INR 87,000 for a 1-year course. Therefore, IIMC Aizawl is more expensive than ACJ. However, it is essential to note that the specific courses and durations may vary.

It is important to comprehend the differences between Massco Media and ACJ's PG Diploma before making a decision. Although it is more expensive and offers fewer specializations, ACJ excels because to its well-known faculty, extensive alumni network, and placements in mainstream media. Although Massco Media has a less established reputation and less publicly available placement data, it does offer more specialisation options, flexible learning, and reduced prices.

The constantly updated and industry linked curriculum of IIMC prepares its PG Diploma students to take up challenging assignments in the fields of journalism, advertising, public relations and creative writing etc. Towards the end of the academic session, IIMC organizes a placement/internship fortnight, thereby facilitating an interaction between the industry and students. However, the Institute does not guarantee any placement to its students. Traditionally, IIMC has enjoyed a good placement track record, with several well-known companies recruiting our students with attractive pay packages.
