No. The authorities will not provide any breaks to the candidates in between the Assam CEE examination. The entrance exam will be conducted for 3 hours without any break and during the exam duration, the candidates will have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions from various topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. All candidates will be required to complete the examination within the allotted duration and no extra time will be provided. If the candidates are unable to solve all questions within the time limit, then the left over questions will be categorised as unattempted.

No. The authorities will not provide any partial marking in Assam CEE 2023. Even if the steps taken to derive the answer is correct, the candidates will be given negative marking if their final answer is marked wrong. Since the examination is objective, the candidates will not be allotted marks for their formulas and explanation of concepts. Therefore, the candidates will have to be careful while selecting their answer for every question in Assam CEE 2023. 

The official marking scheme has been released through the Assam CEE 2023 exam pattern. For every correct response, the candidates were allotted 4 marks. However, for every incorrect response, the authorities deducted 1 mark. Candidates were advised to carefully check the Assam CEE 2023 marking scheme so that they understood how the authorities would mark them.
