The authorities will not release the Assam CEE syllabus online. The subjects, topics and units to be studied for the entrance examination is similar to the syllabus of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council/NCERT. Therefore, the candidates are advised to check the mentioned syllabus to be prepared for Assam CEE. The candidates will have to study various topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the 12th standard qualifying entrance examination.

No. It is not mandatory for the candidates to attempt all of the questions in the Assam CEE paper. Since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to check carefully and answer those questions which they are sure about. By choosing those questions for which they know the correct answers, the candidates will have higher chances of avoiding negative marking and performing well in the entrance exam.

It is to be noted there may be cases when candidates will not be alloted in their first preferred Assam CEE exam city. The allotment of exam centres depends on a number of factors such as availability, number of applications received and more. Therefore, the authorities have the right to add or remove an exam centre. In case a centre is completely filled or does not have enough students, then the authorities will allot another centre is their next of preference to the candidates.

No. The Assam CEE authorities do not provide a waiting area of any accomodation to the candidate's parents or companions during the examination. They will be required to wait outside the examination centre while the examination is ongoing. The guardians are advised to leave the centre after the examination commences and to come back later after the exam is over. This will lessen the chances of overcrowding and the authorities will be able to efficiently control the centre.

Candidates are advised to let their guardians or companions safekeep their personal belongings. If the candidate does not have anyone to accompany them who can take care of their belongings, then they may request the Assam CEE centre authorities to deposit the personal belongings for the test duration. However, the authorities will not be responsible for any loss of belongings. Therefore, the candidates are advised not to bring expensive belongings to the centre.
