Assam JMEE

Assam JMEE 2025 syllabus has not been released yet. Therefore, the details about the revision of JMEE 2025 syllabus has not been announced yet. If any revision is announced, the candidates will be informed through the official website. The syllabus of JMEE consists of topics from Mathematics, Reasoning, English and Computer Fundamentals.

Candidates are advised to study all of the topics included in the official Assam JMEE syllabus. Since the JMEE question paper will be prepared based on the syllabus, the candidates will have a higher chance of performing welll in the examination if they are familiar with the topics. However, the candidates are advised to check the important topics and give them importance as they have chances of being of higher weightage.

Assam JMEE syllabus will be released online at astu.ac.in. Candidates will be able to check the official JMEE syllabus along with the information brochure. The authorities will use no other mode to release the syllabus of JMEE. The list of subjects, topics and units to be studied for the exam can be checked through the Assam JMEE syllabus. 

The Assam JMEE paper will have a total of 100 questions. Out of the total questions, Mathematics and Reasoning sections will have 30 questions each. Meanwhile, the candidates will have to attempt 20 questions each in English and Fundamentals of Computers. All questions will be multiple-choice and the candidates will have to mark the correct option in the OMR sheet.

Assam JMEE paper consists of four sections. The candidates will have to attempt objective multiple-choice questions of Reasoning, English, Fundamentals of Computers and Mathematics in the Assam JMEE paper. All of the subjects will be of the graduation level syllabus. Candidates will have to attempt and qualify the examination to be considered eligible for the counselling and admission process.

The official Assam JMEE marking scheme is released online. As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer. However, for every incorrect answer, the authorities will deduct one mark. Since there is negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt questions carefull in the examination.

No. Assam JMEE will not be conducted in any regional language. The questions in the Assam JMEE paper will be in English. Candidates will be required to read the question and the given options and then mark the correct one in the OMR sheet. To understand how the examination will be held, the candidates are advised to check the official Assam JMEE exam pattern.

The official duration of Assam JMEE is 3 hours. All candidates will have to attempt all 100 multiple-choice questions within the allotted duration. No extra time will be given to complete the paper. Therefore, the candidates are advised to practice their time management skills to ensure that they complete the examination within the allotted time.

Assam JMEE exam pattern will be released online at the official website astu.ac.in. The candidates will be able to check the official JMEE exam pattern along with the information brochure. The details on how the entrance examination will be conducted by the authorities can be checked through the exam pattern of Assam JMEE. Once released, the candidates are advised to refer to it before starting their preparation process.

No. Assam JMEE will be held offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test. The authorities will not conduct the exam in any other mode. Candidates will have to attempt the Assam JMEE paper at their allotted exam centres. Out of the various options provided for every question, the candidates will have to mark the correct answer in the OMR sheet. After completing the exam, the OMR sheet has to be submitted to the exam invigilator.
