The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam allots the medical seats by two means during the Assam NEET counselling. Both the ways are dependent on the NEET score/percentile of the candidate and the availability of seats. After that, the preference is given according to the choice of colleges the candidate selected during the Assam NEET counselling form filling process.
